I decided to make tarragon chicken for dinner tonight. As I didn't have any fresh tarragon I got out my trusty tin of the dried variety from Dean and Deluca. It is very good by the way, both in color and in flavor. That made me remember that I forgot the note that was supposed to go with the asterisk in my post, The Pumpkin Months. I was going to say that my szechuan peppercorns came from my local Dean and Deluca, and that they are stocked on their website as well. As an alternative, you could use dried green peppercorns. My apologies.
